this is a small project i took on for gruene lake village, an area of historic gruene, tx filled with boutique businesses and restaurants. they reached out to me in need of a new website and various brand assets to help promote the area. i made them a new logo, picked out a typeface, color palette, and put together a simple site for them to feature the various businesses that call gruene home.

the area is pretty chic, but also has a lot of texas history, so it maintains a unique balance of farm & fashionable. since it was a shopping centre and not just one individual business, i didn’t have too much to go off other than “classy, yet rustic”. so, i wanted to pick out colors and aesthetics that spoke to both of those qualities.
